Former Florida state representative; candidate, Orange County Commission, District 2

Kamia Brown served in the Florida House for District 45 from 2016 to 2022 and ran unsuccessfully for the Florida Senate in 20223. She finished first in the Aug. 18, 2026 nonpartisan primary for District 2 with 30.5% and faces Mike Crabb on Nov. 31. In the county voter guide she lists permitting delays, workforce housing and transportation as her top issues2.

Orange County Sheriff's Office employee and small business owner; candidate, Orange County Commission, District 2

Mike Crabb says he has a 30-year career at the Orange County Sheriff's Office, where he manages personnel and a section budget, and owns The Shirt Shop USA in downtown Ocoee2. He finished second in the Aug. 18, 2026 District 2 primary with 24.1% and faces Kamia Brown on Nov. 31. His stated top issues are public safety, infrastructure and economic affordability, and he says he will defend the voter-approved Rural Boundary2.
