Tyler Brown has been Arapahoe County Sheriff since January 8, 20192. The county's profile says he began in law enforcement in 2007 as a code enforcement officer with the City of Aurora, and later served as a police officer in Northglenn and in Mountain View and as an Aurora Public Schools campus safety officer2. He won the November 2022 general election and faces Republican Kevin Edling in November14.

It lists degrees from the Community College of the Air Force, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Colorado State University2. He was also the Republican nominee for Sheriff in 2022, receiving 102,948 votes to Tyler Brown's 138,3343.
