Candidate for Johnson County District Clerk

Will Keeton is a Republican candidate for Johnson County District Clerk¹. The county's District Clerk page lists him as the District Clerk², but a Cleburne Times-Review report said Dean Sullivan was appointed to fill the unexpired term of retiring District Clerk David Lloyd, and the Texas State Directory lists Dean Sullivan as District Clerk⁴⁵. This guide could not confirm from Commissioners Court records who currently holds the office, so it does not list him as an incumbent. In a Times-Review candidate profile he was reported to have 12 years of service at the Guinn Justice Center, more than 20 years as a small business owner, and police academy training at Hill College³. He is the only candidate on the November 3, 2026 ballot for District Clerk¹.
