Tom Sell is a Lubbock attorney and businessman who earned a bachelor's degree in agribusiness and a law degree from Texas Tech University¹³. He worked for former U.S. Rep. Larry Combest, including as deputy staff director of the House Agriculture Committee, and later co-founded a Lubbock firm with Combest¹³. He won the Republican nomination for the open 19th District seat in a May 2026 runoff³⁵.
