Tim Bertling (Republican) is the only candidate on the November 3, 2026 ballot for Boundary County Commissioner, District 2¹. He is listed as the District 2 commissioner on the county's Board of Commissioners page². The Herald reported in April 2026 that he has worked as a self-employed logger for 35 years and spent 11 years on the Boundary County School Board before serving as commissioner³. The Herald reported that he won his current seat as a write-in candidate in the 2022 general election⁴.
