Erie County Legislator, District 2

Taisha St. Jean Tard represents District 2 of the Erie County Legislature and took office on January 2, 2025 by appointment²⁴. A Buffalo native, she earned a bachelor's degree in communication from Medaille College in 2016 and a master's in marketing communication from St. Bonaventure University in 2018, served as chief of staff to the Buffalo Common Council, and is executive director of the Miss Buffalo Scholarship Organization³. She is unopposed in 2026 on the Democratic and Working Families lines¹.
