Accountant, entrepreneur and project manager

Shannon Wooten Birkelbach is a Waller High School graduate with an accounting degree from Texas A&M, and describes herself as an entrepreneur, accountant and project manager who moved back to Waller County in 2006². Her campaign says she will prioritize smart growth and protecting taxpayers². She is the Republican nominee for Precinct 2²; the county's page for the seat names a different commissioner, Walter E. Smith, who is not a candidate in 2026¹.
