Ryan Gill is a sixth-generation Floridian and cattle rancher from east Hillsborough County whose family has farmed the same land for more than 120 years; he was named Farm Credit Agriculturalist of the Year in 2022 and served two years as chairman of the Hillsborough County Soil and Water Conservation District1. He is the Republican nominee for the open House District 68 seat and faces Democrat Tony Smith on November 3, 20262.
