Ruby D. Clark is a Jefferson County district judge in the civil division who won District Court Place 7 in November 2020 under the name Ruby Yvette Davis and took office in January 2021¹²³. Before the bench she founded The Davis Law Group, LLC, practicing bankruptcy, wrongful death and personal injury law, and she earned her J.D. from the Birmingham School of Law after undergraduate studies at Faulkner University¹. She is now the Democratic nominee for Circuit Court Place 10, an open seat, and is unopposed on the November 3, 2026 ballot⁵⁶.
