Phil Crowley (Republican) is the Taylor County Judge and the only candidate for County Judge on the November 3, 2026 ballot1. The county's biography of him says he graduated from Hardin-Simmons University and Texas Wesleyan School of Law, joined the Taylor County District Attorney's Office in 2015, and became a felony prosecutor in 20172. It says he was sworn in as County Judge on January 1, 2023, after winning the Republican nomination in March 2022 and running unopposed in November 20222. The county's Elected Officials page lists him as the holder of the office3.
