Johnson County Commissioner, District 5

Michael Ashcraft, of Olathe, is the District 5 county commissioner, serving his fourth term (2023 to present) after terms beginning in 2011, 2015 and 2019¹. The county page says he worked more than 30 years as a consultant to public and private companies¹. His campaign site says he is a consistent conservative voice who wants the county to set and keep priorities³. He faces Greg Mitchell in the nonpartisan general election².
