Mary Windom was elected to the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals in 2008, became its presiding judge in 2012, and was reelected in 2014 and 202012. Before joining the court she was in private practice, served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Alabama, and was a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Alabama1. She is the Republican nominee for Place 4 and is unopposed on the November 3, 2026 ballot4.
