Mark Nair is an Amarillo inventor, entrepreneur and educator who served on the Amarillo City Council and has taught economics and software development at Amarillo College³⁴. He worked for more than 20 years at Anderson Merchandisers and holds bachelor's and graduate degrees from Texas A&M University¹³. He won the March 3, 2026 Democratic primary unopposed and faces Republican incumbent Ronny Jackson¹.
