Lawanna Gelzer says she has spent more than 40 years organizing in neighborhoods and proposes a neighborhood advisory council, an infrastructure audit and a District 6 transparency dashboard². She finished second in the Aug. 18, 2026 primary with 20.7% and faces incumbent Mike Scott on Nov. 3¹. She did not answer the question on why she should be elected².
