Grimes County Judge

Joe Fauth III is the Grimes County Judge, according to the county's official page². Governor Abbott appointed him to the Texas Commission on Jail Standards for a term expiring January 31, 2031; the Governor's release also lists him as vice chairman of Counseling Creations, a board member at large of the National Association of Regional Councils, and past chairman of the Brazos Valley Council of Governments³. He is the only candidate on the November 3, 2026 ballot for County Judge¹.
