Iowa state senator (District 17); Executive Director, Urban Dreams

Izaah Knox (Democrat) is the only candidate on the November 3, 2026 ballot for Polk County Board of Supervisors District 5¹. The Iowa Legislature lists him as a Democratic state senator for District 17 whose listed occupation is Executive Director of Urban Dreams³. The county lists Angela Connolly as the current District 5 supervisor, so Knox is not the incumbent². In a Des Moines Register candidate Q&A he named housing, mental health and crisis response, food access, early childhood education, jobs and clean water as priorities, in his own words⁴.
