Elisa Chinn Gary, who also writes her name Chinn-Gary, has been Mecklenburg County's Clerk of Superior Court and judge of probate since December 2014²³. Before that she was the administrator of the Mecklenburg Family Court for more than a decade². She is unopposed on the November 2026 ballot¹.
