Project Director, AtkinsRealis (per his campaign site)

David McDonald says on his campaign site that he is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran with 25 years as a sergeant at the Austin Police Department and 6 years as TxDOT's Statewide Traffic Incident Management Coordinator, and that he is a Project Director at AtkinsRealis². The Austin American-Statesman reports that he served on the Leander City Council from 2022 to 2025³. He is a candidate for the seat, not its current holder; the county's Commissioner Precinct Two page lists a different person in it⁴.
