Cindy Spray is the incumbent Manatee County School Board member for District 2 and one of two candidates on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot for the seat, which is voted on only by District 2 voters¹². She is 70, a registered Republican, and worked in the corporate sector for 40 years before joining the board². She says her focus has been "getting back to the basics" such as reading, writing and math².
