Chris Hall was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, holds a degree in industrial distribution from Texas A&M University and has about 10 years of experience in electrical distribution; he and his wife have also worked as entrepreneurs in network marketing and real estate investing1. - Won the open Collier County Board of Commissioners District 2 seat in 2022, after winning the Republican primary and defeating Democrat Bebe Kanter in the general election2.
- In 2023 the Florida Elections Commission entered a consent order finding his 2022 campaign ads omitted the word "for" before the office name; he neither admitted nor denied wrongdoing and was fined $2002.
- On April 23, 2024, as board chairman, he brought an agenda item asking the commission to consider adopting a resolution calling for a legally valid 2024 general election; the minutes record it as discussed with direction given, and a motion to continue it was made and withdrawn, so the board took no vote and the resolution was not adopted; he told the board he was approached with the resolution and brought it to start a grassroots effort, and that Collier County has great elections45.
