Candidate

Alyssa Wilson, who goes by Al, is an independent candidate for the two at-large seats on the Jasper County Board of Supervisors¹. In a letter to the Newton Daily News she describes herself as a former paralegal and as a VA Administrator who served local veterans, and says veterans collected signatures to put her on the ballot². Her stated priorities are fiscal responsibility and infrastructure, support for local veterans and residents, and open access through weekly office hours².
