Michael A. Casale represents the 2nd District (Lewiston) and serves on the Administration and Economic Development committees12. Before joining the Legislature he spent about 30 years as a county employee, starting in 1995 as deputy commissioner of business development and ending as the county's director of economic development, a post he left in April 2025; county Republicans and Conservatives then endorsed him to take over outgoing Chairwoman Rebecca Wydysh's nominating petitions for the 2nd District seat3. He is unopposed in 2026 and appears on the Republican and Conservative lines4.
