According to a county continuing-legal-education speaker bio, she was elected to the court in 20184; her campaign site gives a different account of how she took the bench (see background)6. The speaker bio also says she has been licensed to practice law since 19964. Before the bench she was a prosecutor, including Criminal Division Chief at the Williamson County Attorney's Office, and later worked in private practice4.
