The Commission found that she failed to comply with the law and maintain professional competence, including failing to follow Fourth Court of Appeals orders in a timely fashion; failed to accord a party the right to be heard; performed judicial duties with bias or prejudice in her treatment of one attorney; and lent the prestige of her office to advance her own interests when she had Bexar County pay for transcripts used in her defense to the Commission, in violation of Canons 2A, 2B, 3B(2), 3B(5) and 3B(8) of the Texas Code of Judicial Conduct and Article V, Section 1-a(6)A of the Texas Constitution2.
