He was a district judge in Houston County from 2001 to 2009 and a circuit judge for the 20th Judicial Circuit from 2009 until his appointment, and before that an assistant district attorney1. He is the Republican nominee for Place 7 and is unopposed on the November 3, 2026 ballot4.
